Spectral Data Cubes

Overview

Synthesizer can be used to make spectral data cubes (similar to the integral field unit instruments on telescopes)

• SpectralCube objects, a container for a spaxel data cube. These provide functionality to create, manipulate and visualise spectral data cubes

In the documentation below we demonstrate producing spectral data cubes from parametric and particle Galaxy objects. At the moment synthesizer does not support instrument specific spectral data cubes.
